"When law enforcement violates an individual's rights, we aggressively pursue a remedy for the victims and their families."

In 2013, Joe McMullen began applying his years of federal criminal litigation experience to select civil rights cases.  The focus of his civil rights practice is on representing victims of abuses by law enforcement agents resulting in serious physical injuries or death, and on obtaining monetary settlements or verdicts in favor of clients and their families.  He has achieved plaintiff’s verdicts in police misconduct cases resulting in the recovery of millions of dollars for the violation of his clients’ constitutional rights. Mr. McMullen is a proud member of the National Police Accountability Project, participating in San Diego, Chicago, and Miami, in order to put an end to police brutality and excessive force by federal, state and local law enforcement agents.  All civil rights cases are handled on a contingency fee basis and there is no charge for a consultation.
